The goal of the learning course

– formation for foreign students language and communicative

competence needed for communication in education, common and socio-culture

sphere according to « Requirements to I certification level possessions Russian

language as a foreign language. General possession. Profession module».

Planned results of the learning course

– basic knowledge of Russian language ( phonetics, graphics, grammar,

vocabulary),

– the ability to reading, writing in Russian language, receive information

aurally and construct own statement on the given topic based on read text,

– the ability to apply received knowledge in a real situations of

communication in Russian language in education, common, socio-cultural and

educational and professional sphere.

Phonetics: Alphabet. Stress and rhythm. Pronunciation rules. Syntagmatic

division. Types of intonation structures.

Grammar: The concept of parts of speech. Prepositional-case system.

Species-temporal form of the verb. Verbs of motion in Russian language. The

concept of simple and complex sentences. Expression of attributive, temporary,

spatial, cause-and-effect, comparative relations in simple and complex sentences.

Active and passive constructions. The concept of communion and gerunds.

Russian speech etiquette: salutation, farewell, thanks, excuse, regret, request,

invitation, congratulation, agreement, disagreement etc.

Communication situations: Familiarity. In the dean. Study at the university.

Listening monologue speech

– the ability to receive information, contained in monologue statement,

aurally (topic, main idea, main and additional information about each notional part

of message), with enough details, depth, accuracy.

Listening dialogue speech

– the ability to understand aurally:

– the main content of the dialog;

– communicative intentions its members.

Reading

– the ability to:

– use different strategy of reading depending on communicative setting

and king of reading;

– find needed information;

– define the topic of the text and understand its main idea;

– understand as main as additional information in the text with enough

details, depth, accuracy;

– adequately understand authors findings and mark.

Writing

– the ability to:

– produce a written statement on proposed topic according to the

communicative setting independently ;

– construct a written monologue statement based on the read text that

have reproductive-productive character according to the communicative setting.

Speaking

Monologue speech

– the ability to:

– produce connected and logical statements according to the given topic

and communicative setting independently;

– construct a monologue statement based on the read or listened text

with formal-semantic structure and communicative orientation;

– formulate the main idea read or listened text;

– express own attitude to the facts, events set in the text, main actors and

actions.

Dialogue speech

– the ability to:

– understand the content of the interlocutor statements and his

communicative intentions in different speech situations;

– adequately answer to interlocutor cues;

– initiate the dialog, express your communicative intention in speech

situations that current to this language level.

Listening

Listening monologue speech

The ability to understand information given like monologue statement with

informative and explanatory character aurally (explanation of teacher, training

lecture): the topic of the text, its main content, main information about single

semantic parts.

Reading

The ability to understand the topic, the problem and the main content of the read

text; main and secondary information about single semantic parts; logical and

cause-and-effect relations and findings between them.

Writing

The ability to:

– construct written statement based on the read or listened text with

reproductive-productive character;

– construct the plan of the read text;

– write down key points of the read or listened text, definition of

concepts, findings etc., using compression techniques, accepted ways of reducing

words and symbols.

Speaking

Monologue speech

The ability to pass on content of the read text according to the given questions and

plan.

Dialogue speech

The ability to take part in dialog based on the read text, understand interlocutor

communicative intentions and adequately answer to his cues.

The ability to use studied language and speech material, specifically operate with it

when you construct statement, register speech statement according to the norms of

modern Russian language.
